May 25, 2012
By

On the morning of May 13th, Fort Saskatchewan R.C.M.P. along with the Fire Department and EMS responded to a multi vehicle collision on 99th Avenue at 84th Street.

The investigation revealed a Ford F-150 pick-up was northbound on 99th Avenue, and swerved into the southbound lane of traffic, near James Mowat School, causing a south bound SUV to take evasive action. Despite this, the SUV was side- swiped by the truck. The truck next collided with a parked car. The driver of the truck continued to drive with extensive damage to the front of the vehicle, and finally came to a stop at 99th Ave. and 84th St. A 35-year-old male from Edmonton was arrested and charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing injury.
