It really makes a community proud to witness all of the fundraisers that have been happening here in the Fort.

In this issue of Over Easy, Please, we look at just two of the many fundraisers that occurred recently. Both fundraisers were prompted by ill children: juvenile diabetes in the case of Mia Richardson, and a rare autoimmune disorder, juvenile dermatomyositis, in the case of Stephie Gagnon.

These fundraisers occurred amidst a backdrop of several more this past week in the Fort and area; including the All Horse Weekend in Bruderheim (supporting the Alzheimer’s Society) and several local initiatives to support people (and pets) from Slave Lake.

It is especially heartwarming to know that there are so many caring people, contributing their time, and giving donations to make all of these fundraisers a huge success. Way to go Fort Saskatchewan!
